How we handle the personal data you share with us through this website's contact and availability form.

Ricardo Teixeira, as owner of the property at Rua de São Bento da Vitória, 52, Porto, is the controller responsible for the personal data collected through this website. For any question about your data, you can contact us by email at teixeiraheritage@gmail.com or by WhatsApp at +351 965 589 514.
When you fill in the availability form, we collect: your name, email, WhatsApp/phone number, intended check-in and check-out dates, number of occupants, reason for your stay, whether you need a company invoice, the message you write, and the consent you give to be contacted.
We use this data solely to: respond to your availability request, assess whether the apartment fits your dates and needs, and — should you decide to move forward — carry out the booking process and manage the resulting rental agreement.
We do not use your data for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not share it with third parties for marketing purposes.
Processing is based on your consent (given when you submit the form) for the purpose of responding to your enquiry, and, should the booking proceed, on the need to take pre-contractual steps and perform the rental agreement itself.
The form is processed technically by Netlify (Netlify Forms), which acts as a processor for the technical delivery and storage of submissions. We do not share your data with any other third party, except where required by law (for example, in connection with tax obligations tied to a rental agreement that is actually signed).
Data from availability requests that do not result in a booking is kept only for as long as necessary to respond to the request, and is then deleted. Data associated with a rental agreement that is actually signed is kept for the duration of the agreement and for the legally applicable period afterwards.
This website does not currently use third-party cookies or a traffic-analytics tool connected to a real account (the code is prepared for a future connection to Google Analytics/Google Tag Manager, but no account is active). If that changes, this policy will be updated before any activation.
At any time, and free of charge, you can ask us to: access your data, correct it, delete it, restrict its processing, object to the processing, request data portability, and withdraw the consent you gave (without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before that withdrawal). You also have the right to lodge a complaint with Portugal's data protection authority, the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (CNPD) — www.cnpd.pt.
